Caffeine tolerance can vary from one person to the next. Although caffeine is generally safe for most healthy adults, consumers should be aware of the total caffeine intake in their diets (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks, etc.).

It is recommended that you limit caffeine to 200 mg per sitting and about 400 mg of caffeine per day. Pregnant women should limit caffeine to 200 mg per day and 100 mg (1 cup of coffee) per sitting, depending on guidance from their healthcare provider.
